Religious Education and Worldviews help children explore life’s big questions, such as meaning, purpose, and morality. We encourage them to reflect on their own values while understanding and appreciating the beliefs of others. We learn about and from different religions and worldviews in local, national, and global contexts and develop critical thinking, empathy, and respect for diverse beliefs and perspectives.
Our aim is to foster open-mindedness, respectful dialogue and informed decision-making about faith, ethics, and cultural diversity.
We follow the NATRE Primary Religious Education Curriculum and Understanding Christianity. The locally agreed syllabus of Awareness Mystery and Faith currently being updated by BANES, is a supplementary resource.

Spirituality threads through our Big Questions, as we reflect on life’s big questions, develop a sense of the interconnectedness of life. We are learning from life through reflections, considering perspectives and making connections.
