Pay scale: SCP 5-6 £25,583- £25,989 (FTE) £2,957- £3,003 (Actual p.a pro rata)
Freshford Church School, part of the Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint an outstanding after school club supervisor to support our children who attend our wrap around care provision. We are looking for a nurturing, enthusiastic, inspiring and self-motivated professional person to join our friendly team.
We are looking for someone with:
- Three GCSE’s (preferably including Maths and English)
- Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children
- The ability to work as part of a group and individually
- Previous experience of working with children
- The ability to manage the behaviour of groups of children
- A good knowledge of a range of recreational and physical activities for children
- Good organisational skills

MDSA (Lunchtime Assistant)
Hours vary between 11:45 – 13:30
1 – 2 days per week term time only
MDSA: B&NES SCP3: £24,796 (FTE) Actual Salary £1,003.13- £2,006.26
Permanent contract
Term time only plus 1 Inset days.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic lunchtime assistant (MDSA).
This is a great opportunity to work with a team who enjoy making the school day as enjoyable as possible and to build up experience working in a school and further career opportunities. You will work in the hall as part of the lunchtime team as well as in the playground.
You will be expected to: –
- Maintain a calm, respectful atmosphere and encourage positive behaviour
- Set up the hall and create a welcoming environment
- Work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with others
- Support children during mealtimes and tidying up
- Deal with any minor first aid incidents (training will be provided)
- Set up and clear away tables and benches at the start and end of lunchtime and general cleaning duties
